More than 14 years of experience in writing. I have worked for five and a half years as an active sports journalist. Former Principal Correspondent at Hindustan Times, Mumbai, India. I have also worked at The New Indian Express in Chennai and DNA in Mumbai.
Since 2015, I have been freelancing for many websites and publications across the globe including India, USA, and Australia. I am well versed in different genres and styles from content writing, scriptwriting, and news writing to feature and article writing. I have written on many topics like logistics, food, pets, sports, education, digital marketing, solar products, e-commerce, health, and fitness among others.
My strengths include proficiency in grammar, crisp writing skills, good use of language, and the ability to identify and rectify errors.
I completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. Prior to that, I studied BSc Visual Communication from PSG CAS in Coimbatore.
I have been actively involved in writing, reporting, and desk work, including extensive packaging and graphical analysis. I have covered a wide range of sports like tennis, basketball, cricket, motorsports, badminton, football, hockey, cue sports, boxing, and athletics regularly. While working in DNA, I also got to write a daily tennis column – Court Sense – for the Australian Open. I have also freelanced for Underscore India where I got to write scripts for educational animated videos.
