Kerala Based India Local Needed for Exciting Project (Translating, Coordinating)
Description
We're seeking a Kerala-based Indian local to assist with translation and coordination for an exciting food/travel project:
The Task:
- Engage with selected restaurants in Kerala or identify other restaurants meeting our specifications to arrange live cooking sessions, that will be recorded. We will brief you on the requirements - we will work together with the restaurant to understand how they'd like to be promoted on our social media.
- Accompany us to these venues to facilitate communication by translating from English to Malayalam.
- Assist in translating communications, including emails and messages via platforms like LINE or WhatsApp.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Confident, dynamic, and enthusiastic.
- Possesses a vibrant and engaging personality.
- Resident of Kerala with Indian nationality.
- Proficient in English.
- Skilled in negotiation, particularly with restaurant management.
- Capable of interpreting discussions between chefs and our team.
- Adept at discovering and recommending unique local dining spots for our content.
- Able to effectively communicate our project's vision to restaurant owners and staff.
- Able to take photos/videos on the shoot days (you don’t have to get in front of the camera).
