Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for General Practitioners and Nurses . The General Practitioners and Nurses will be responsible for providing medical care, diagnosing and treating various health conditions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

THERE ARE FOUR MAIN PATHWAYS
1. Standard Pathway
2. Competent Authority Pathway
3. Specialist Pathway
4. Short-Term training in a Medical Speciality Pathway
1. The Standard Pathway is suitable if you:
i. Are seeking general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
ii. Have obtained an eligible medical degree in medicine and surgery.
iii. Are not eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway.
A. You will need to create an Australian Medical Council (AMC) portfolio.
B. Pass the AMC CAT MCQ Examination. (this tests your knowledge of the principles and practice of medicine in the fields of general practice, internal medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, surgery, and obstetrics and gynaecology).
C. Pass the AMC Clinical Examination. (this assesses your clinical skills in medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics and psychiatry. It also assesses ability to communicate with patients, their families and other health workers. OR Pass AMC Workplace based assessment.
(before applying for a WBA program directly to a WBA provider, you must have passed the AMC CAT MCQ Examination and have been granted registration by the Medical Board of Australia in order to be employed in an approved clinical position. D. Once these processes are successfully completed you will be issued with an AMC certificate by the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
2. For the Competent Authority Pathway you may be eligible for provisional registration if you are registered and have completed an accredited medical course and approved supervised training (internship equivalent) (conditions apply) in the following countries;
A. THE UNITED KINGDOM General Medical Council (GMC)
B. CANADA Medical Council of Canada (MCC)
C. UNITED STATES Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)
D. UNITED STATES National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME)
E. NEW ZEALAND Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
F. IRELAND Medical Council of Ireland (MCI)
3. The Specialist Pathway is involves multiple stages such as;
1. Confirming you have completed and satisfied all training and examination requirements to practise in your field of specialty in your country of training
2. Acquiring specialist recognition from the specialist medical college.
3. Complete any requirements prescribed by specialist medical college. 4. Apply to MBA for specialist registration (subject to approval by the college)
4. The Short-Term training in a Medical Speciality Pathway is suitable for: Short term training in a medical specialty pathway for international medical graduates (IMGs) who are overseas-trained specialists or specialists-in-training wishing to undertake a short period (usually up to 24 months) of specialist or advanced training in Australia. This pathway does not lead to registration as a specialist in Australia.
