I am Debdutta Ghosh (further personal details in CV) and I am a former journalist, based out of Kolkata, India. I was a professional journalist for 13 years and was engaged in reporting for National English newspapers (including The Asian Age, the Indian Express, and Hindustan Times) and national and regional News Channels like Zee News and Zee Business. This experience exposed me to a host of verticals as far as topics and issues are concerned. For example, while I am proficient in current affairs and politics, I am also well conversed about business and economic issues, sports, and even law - just to name a few. For the last 9 years, I earn my bread as a full-time freelancer - primarily functional in academic content, business article reviews and analysis, PR content, and general content like white papers, etc. My present job requirement involves conducting extensive online research for subjects, comprehending and understanding them, and then penning them down in my own words.
